Frequently Asked Questions

  • $150 per 50-minute session and $210 for a 75 minute session. There are limited sliding scale spots held for those with financial need.

  • Working with a third party (Alma) to process in-network claims, I am able to accept several Aetna insurance plans. Alma handles verifying eligibility and submitting claims. If you have Aetna and are curious about what your plan offers, Alma provides a cost estimator tool you can access here.

For all other insurance plans, I am considered an out-of-network provider. Many plans will partially reimburse out-of-network mental health services. If you are interested in using out-of-network benefits, I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to find out what options may be available. (If helpful, here are some good questions to ask when calling.) If you decide to use out-of-network benefits, you will be responsible for verifying eligibility and submitting claims. I’m happy to provide a monthly receipt upon request.

  • Unfortunately, I do not hold regular weekend or evening hours. I see clients weekdays until about 5:00p. Outside of these hours, I am tending to the big emotions of a small human.

Exceptions to this are independently-scheduled IADC sessions, which can often be accommodated outside of regular hours. Please feel free to reach out to me to discuss scheduling.

  • I conduct in-person sessions at my office in Central Austin and am happy to offer telehealth to clients across Texas.

  • Yes! I believe that the core of therapy is our relationship and the space we create together. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation as an opportunity to connect and assess if we’ll be a good fit. To schedule a consultation, please contact me.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services. This is intended to offer predictability & transparency in how much clients will be charged for care. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. For more information about the Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
